I am a postdoctoral researcher in computater science at Linkoping University and a lecturer in computational linguistics at Uppsala University. My research interests lie primarily in natural language processing and machine learning. With a background in artificial intelligence and software engineering, I have also contributed to several projects in other areas such as medicine, geology, and mechanical engineering. I teach and supervise bachelor and master theses in software engineering and computational linguistics.
My contributions to computational linguistics and natural language processing have mostly been to data representation (embeddings) and syntax (parsing). I have developed principal word vectors and provided linguistic studies on word vectors. In syntax, I have contributed to dependency parsing and proposed a statistical approach for grammar linking.
